Every leader gets information.

Great leaders get the truth.

The quality of your leadership is reflected in what people are willing to tell you. Become someone people can speak honestly with about work.

Does this sound familiar?

You carry responsibility for safety outcomes, but you know that reports and systems only reveal part of the picture.

You have strong processes in place, yet you sometimes wonder:

"Do we really understand what work is like for the people doing it?"

You find yourself explaining, directing and pushing when what you really want is genuine understanding, ownership and commitment.

You want stronger relationships with frontline teams, because they are how organisations learn.

And you are willing to examine not only what others need to change, but how your own leadership creates the conditions around you.

If this sounds familiar, this coaching is for you.

A regular space to reflect and develop

Coaching is a partnership built around your real work.

We work together through either a six-month or twelve-month coaching engagement, with one-hour sessions held online.

Sessions are typically monthly, creating space between conversations to practice, notice what changes, and reflect on what you are learning.

For leaders navigating a transition, a significant challenge, or a particular moment of change, a more intensive pace is also possible.

What we’ll work on

Together we'll tackle whatever is most important in your leadership right now.

That might include:

  • rebuilding trust after an incident

  • having conversations you've been avoiding

  • influencing senior leaders

  • moving beyond compliance checks to understanding performance

  • engaging frontline teams

  • leading organisational change

  • making sense of complexity

  • finding your own leadership style

What changes?

  • Meetings become more honest, engaging, and valuable.

  • Difficult conversations become easier to navigate.

  • Frontline relationships and learning improve.

  • People stop depending on you for every answer, and teams solve more problems themselves.

  • You're calmer under pressure.

You become someone people are willing to speak honestly with.

Coaching probably right if you…

  • genuinely want to learn.

  • are willing to question your own assumptions.

  • lead people rather than simply manage compliance.

It probably isn’t for you if

  • you’re looking for quick fixes.

  • you want someone to tell you exactly what to do.

  • you believe better procedures alone solve cultural problems.

  • "Working with Daniel creates the space I need to get clear on what matters and how I want to approach it. This helps me find better ways to bring people along with me, lifting outcomes without adding pressure."

-Shirlene Vautier, Health and Safety Leader, Wellington , NZ

  • "The coaching gave all of us more confidence to go out there and talk to people about their work, and about safety."
