This week, Ron Gantt and I went live.

Antonia, who won a signed copy of my book An Invitation to Safety Conversations for her answer to our sentence completion question, sent me this afterwards:

"I am reflecting on how refreshing it was to watch two grown men have a proper korero (chat) who both had warm hearts and clever minds. Thank you. It's rare these days."

Antonia's words, not mine. But I'll take it.

46 people joined us live, from Christchurch to Seattle, with apologies to EMEA for the time zone. 120 had registered. The comments field was alive throughout. There was extra intensity around the answers to the question "you know a safety conversation went well when..." that ranged from genuinely insightful to quietly funny.
Ron's story about a construction site during the pandemic, and the superintendent who was about to push the schedule on workers who had just told us exactly why that would be a problem, is one I'll keep coming back to.

If you missed it, or want to watch it again, you can watch it below.
